Paul’s performances in Oratorio have included over 40 Choral societies in the UK performing works from Bach St. Matthew Passion to Verdi Requiem, in venues including the cathedrals of Canterbury, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Peterborough, Southwark and Ripon.

Recent highlights include Messiah with The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Bach Ich Habe Genug with the North London Chorus, Beethoven Symphony No 9 with Ashford Choral Society, Haydn Creation with Great Missenden Choral Society, Mozart Requiem and Szymanowsky Stabat Mater with Woking Choral Society, Christus Bach St. Matthew Passion in Liverpool Cathedral, Haydn The Seasons with Stratford upon Avon Choral Society, Haydn Nelson Mass in Canterbury Cathedral, Elgar The Dream of Gerontius with London Festival Chorus, Elgar The Kingdom with Ashtead Choral Society and Verdi Requiem with City Philharmonic Choral Society.

In January 2004 Pauls performance of Peter Maxwell Davies’ 8 Songs For a Mad King with Ensemble 10/10 in Liverpool earned him A Royal Philharmonic Society Award nomination. He has recently been invited to perform them again with The Northern Sinfonia at the Sage Centre in Gateshead, in October 2006.
